Hidden quiet hotel in Rattanakosin

My first stay here. Chose this hotel because it is conveniently located off Dinso, accessible by airport bus and canal boat. Hotel does not appear to have changed from 80s. The room was not cleaned after first night and reception needed reminding. The window could not secure properly. Insufficient power points, have to unplug fridge and tv to charge my devices. Very inconvenient. Will I return ? Only if my first choice is not available

We stayed here one night whilst in bangkok. The room was average but clean, good location for walking into the city but also very quite at night so no problem sleeping. Found the staff friendly and helpful. Quite cheap price but good value for money.

Booked into this place as it was late. Very rude reception staff. Following morning I was sick. My husband tried to get me breakfast but was barred from taking any food upstairs "not even for a sick person". We checked out later that day (although I booked and paid for 2 nights!) and when I confronted the rude women at the desk they laughed and said "cafe staff" was to blame.My husband confronted them and they just turned their backs. Refused to reimburse money for 1 night. Room very bad - old green blankets on beds, no toiletries/soap, shower over toilet, room reaked of bad smell .Do not stay here but go to the hotel next door.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Plain but spacious rooms with a/c, fridge, TV, hot water, all very clean. The only downside for us was the exceptionally hard bed and pillows. We drove so having a (free) parking lot at the hotel was important. Lots of small restaurants and coffee shops in the area.

Spacious rooms, clean bathroom. Location is great, close to the palace, the river, lots of temples and the boat to 'new' Bangkok. When we asked the staff at reception how to get places they not only told us the easiest and cheapest way, but also how much it should costs so we wouldn't be overcharged. At 900 Baht per night for a superior double this is definitely a great deal!
